What personal data we collect and why we collect it
On our website we collect voluntarily provided information such as your email address if you sign up to our newsletter – which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
We also collect information by a Submitter about a Missing or Murdered Indigenous person (which includes their name, age, photograph, and short biography). This information will be public on our Missing and Murdered Indigenous People archive and a Content Removal Request can be submitted by the Submitter at any time.
Under no circumstance will your private information (such as email address) be sold or given to third-party advertisers by any of the Iron Eagle 4MMIP team.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF, GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. We will make reasonable efforts to strip personally identifiable data (EXIF, GPS) from images before they are published but we cannot guarantee this process every time.
Contact forms
On our contact page we have a form that captures your name and email address along with your message. This will be kept indefinitely for our records but never sold or shared with any third parties outside of the Iron Eagle 4MMIP Team.
