Jean was one of thirteen children raised in a family of 2 adopted and 11 biological children. Once his father became ill, Jean became the man and the voice of the family, though he was inspired by his sisters. Jean was also a father himself, to a baby girl. He did all he could for his family, who saw him as a provider.
An athletic man, Jean enjoyed hockey and baseball. He enjoyed being in the outdoors–snowshoeing, fishing, hauling wood, and hunting. At the time of his disappearance, Jean was completing his Grade 11/12 studies and he aspired to continue his education in college to become either a heavy-duty truck driver or a pilot.
Jean’s family remember him as a loving, caring person, and their greatest wish is to be able to lay him to rest and honour him. They miss him very much.
Jean was from Wollaston Lake, SK, and was aged 24 when he was last seen in October, 2017.
